Drag Syndrome is the world's only professional drag ensemble consisting exclusively of artists with Down syndrome.

It started as a one-off show on the east side of London, but the audience wanted more! Since then, there have been more and more assignments. Their first international appearance was in Oslo in November 2018, and since then Drag Syndrome has traveled the world. The festival audience can look forward to a show with joy of life and fantastic actors who take the art of drag one step further.

"People with Downs give the heart to art," says founder Daniel Vais. He believes Drag Syndrome  is about creating phenomenal performances as much as challenging the drag landscape. "It's a surprise to see people with learning disabilities suddenly become stars on stage. Drag Syndrome  is fantastic because we have fantastic artists, "says Vais.
